Can I customize the product such as adding our company logo?

A.

Higher Ground has decades of experience, designing custom solutions for OEM’s and educators.  With adequate quantity and lead time, customers may choose custom color fabrics, add your logo or even design a completely new solution for specific devices or needs.  Most in-stock solutions may also be embroidered or screen printed.

Does Higher Ground offer a trial?

A.

We feel strongly that once you get your hand on our products, you'll be happy, and we understand that it's important for you to be able to experience our cases in real world.

Because of this, we offer a 30-day trial. If you're not satisfied with one of our products for any reason, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund. (shipping charges excluded)

How long will it take before my order ships?

A.

If your order is placed before 1pm (eastern time), we make every effort to ship it the same day. In some rare cases, the order will ship the next day.

How does shipping work with Higher Ground Gear orders?

A.

Orders of 20 units or more receive free ground shipping in the contiguous 48 states in the USA. Orders under 20 units or destined for Alaska and Hawaii incur shipping fees.

Any requests for expedited shipping will require further evaluation to see if it can be done and will incur additional fees.

How will my order be packaged?

A.

To reduce our carbon footprint, we use packing material that reduces waste that ends up our landfills while ensuring your orders arrive safe and sound.

Will my laptop fit?

A.

We abbreviate our sizing chart to the nearest whole number. Therefore a 15.4" screen will likely fit in the 15" case category. Each case also lists its internal computer compartment dimensions in the features section for your reference.

Will these cases actually make me cooler?

A.

In many cases yes, but we obviously can not control your ability to actually be cool....but you will definitely be cooler than your friends who don't have a portable office.

Our cases will, however, allow for cooler operation of your laptop via our non-slip riser pads, which not only provide better airflow below your computer, but also shields your lap from excessive heat. So, if you like the idea of your laptop running cooler, the answer is definitely yes!

Will these cases only work on my lap?

A.

No. You may use all of our products on your lap or desktop surface equally well.

What if my laptop doesn't fit the way I like or if I decide the case won't work for me?

A.

We offer a 30-day return policy during which time you may return your order for any reason at all.

What is Higher Ground's Return Policy?

A.

Higher Ground offers:
- 30 day return policy from ship date for full refund (reseller/customer pays for return shipping)
- Up to 90 days (if original packaging is unopened) with a 20% restocking fee (reseller/customer pays for return shipping)
- No returns after 90 days for any reason
- No returns on any customized orders unless defects are found within 5 days of delivery

Q.

Does Higher Ground Offer Repairs?

A.

Higher Ground only offer's repairs or replacements for products with manufacturing or material defects (see warranty section).

For any return or repair, customers are responsible for shipping charges.

If an item is returned for repair, we will ship the item back to you at our cost (domestic US shipments only, international customers are required to cover cost of return shipping).

What kind of warranty does Higher Ground offer?

A.
Higher Ground’s products carry a Lifetime Guarantee.  For the original purchaser, this guarantee covers defects in materials and manufacturing encountered in the normal use of the bag over it’s expected life.  The guarantee does not apply to normal wear and tear, abuse, mishandling, accident, or if the bag is altered in any way.  Wear and tear includes the natural aging of materials, fading and abrasion after normal use. This guarantee does not cover any of the bag’s contents.
If Higher Ground determines that a product failed due to a manufacturing or material defect, Higher Ground will repair or replace it with the same or comparable case.  Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs.   (proof of purchase required for all warranty claims)  Please fill out our online claim form or download the attached form for assistance.

Does Higher Ground use eco-friendly materials?

We want to help the environment through intentional design by using recycled woven fabrics and eco-friendly coatings to keep excess plastics and waste out of landfills. The challenge is finding the balance between what's good for you and your products and the planet, but we feel up to the task.

Our products are designed to be used and loved for as long as possible.

We start with premium, high-quality fabrics and materials and combine them with product design principles to give you peace of mind that your products are protected from drops, bumps, and whatever else life throws your way. Because when we say our products are designed for life, we mean it.

Where are Higher Ground's products designed?

The design process happens in our HQ in Michigan at our design lab where we not only determine design effectiveness through various tests like drop tests, but where we also prototype new styles using printing, cutting, and other fun design toys.

Deal Registration has two quantities: 300 to 1999 cases with an additional price break built in for 2000 or more cases.

Will Higher Ground Gear send samples to my end user prospects?

Higher Ground Gear is glad to provide samples to resellers or prospects. For end user samples, we will require a short description of the opportunity and the following information:

PLEASE NOTE: Higher Ground Gear will not ship duplicates to end users that we know have already received a sample of the requested case/bag either directly or due to another request.

Can we customize or special-order products for customers?

Yes, we are pleased to offer both pre and post-production customization on selected SKUs and accessories. All customization orders are considered Special Orders. Special Orders may take more time to complete based on manufacturing, shipping, and timing requirements.

Samples are ONLY available (for client approval) after a PO has been placed.
